Sandy Feet.

Hello! How are you today(or night! ) My foot is finally getting better and from the looks of it I’ll be up and taking some more snaps in no time! (tomorrow hopefully)

Anyway, for now here is another image I took whilst in Cumbria of my sister wandering across a seemingly endless beach 🙂 The one thing that doesn’t come across in this shot is that it was around 5 degrees Celsius and we were fighting against a gale force wind! Oh, did I mention it was Summer? 😛 Who doesn’t love Britain’s weather? Another weird thing in this snap is the small squiggly things all over the sand! You can see them in the foreground of the picture and it would be really cool if someone actually told me what they were! haha! anyway! have a good night! (or day, depending on when you read this and where you are! :P)

Edit: Hey! you know that competition I told all you guys about? (2 or 3 posts ago) Well I may have accidentally given you the wrong email address :O What can I say? It was late! Anyway I changed it to the right one, but in case you can’t be bothered to scroll down, here is the right address 🙂 please send here as soon as possible! I’ll close this competition on Saturday next week so get editing!

lakes, breaks and horrible insects.

Hola! Hey everyone, I’m alive! After two days of being to lazy to get out of bed, as my sister put it, I am back and ready to add some colour into your lives 😉 The real reason I was inactive for these two days is because someone fell on my foot and I tore some of the muscles, tendons etc.. in my ankle! Luckily it’s healed quickly and I’ll be back on my feet in no time, literally 😀

This is another photo that I took at my local park, and although it might be a little over-saturated and has nothing in particular to do with autumn, it does have some very nice qualities and has in fact water contained with in! amazing! 😀

When I took this snaptacular shot I was out at the park with my friends and we had decided to stop and rest so we found this patch of grass by the lake and relaxed. By the time we got up we were all itching, so, looking at our clothes, we discover they had been invaded by a wave of little, tiny, disgusting insects! after a large ordeal with a lot of screaming involved we eventually cleaned them all out and came home, having lost our dignity and a perfectly good hat!

Shard in the sky.

The final piece of the puzzle! This is the last photo under the London theme! Isn’t an amazing moment? Anyway this photo is a bit of an experiment as I tried using a new photo editing app, tell me what you think and remember to share this blog with your friends 😛

Old and New.

I don’t think my naming skills are that keen today, but I hope you like the picture! ;D This was taken as we were heading for the lost property of the DLR service in Poplar and I just thought what a stark contrast there was between the sky scraping buildings and the small, unkempt apartments less than a mile away. Of course I could go on about how it is not right that they leave the locals needs and wants out of the picture, but this is a photography blog, not a politics site! 😛 so I hope you enjoy!

by the way, the poll for the theme next week closes at 1:00 today, so get voting! ;D

Platform woes…

Ahh! Decided I would be extra generous today and post another picture! 😀 this one looks a bit ominous but, still I thought had an interesting undertone so here you go ;D

London’s Manhattan.

20121010-070315.jpg
Good morning! Today’s photo is a snap from canary wharf in Cabot square. The reason I called it ‘London’s Manhattan is because the whole area was made to look American and resemble the manhattan area of New york!

This photo is pretty strange, I took it and made it look like a sunny, bright day, but where I was it was pouring with rain! It just hadn’t spread to the canary wharf yet :O

It Was a Bright, Cold Day in April

Who likes the creepy reference? Well even if you don’t you can hopefully enjoy this photograph taken a while back. I don’t remember the exact time though, and, to be honest, I’m pretty sure this wasn’t taken in April :O

The main reason I chose this picture and not anything else is down to the small bush on the bottom right of the photo. Apart from it helping the composition, it is pretty peculiar to see any sorts of vegetation on the side of the Thames!
